As soon as the New Year 2012 began, we received some good news from Ireland. A Lithuanian man, residing there, sent us a warm e-mail to let us know that a bank transfer was made to the account of fund Rugutė.

 

The kind man, who chose to remain anonymous, told us, that on the occasion of his upcoming 30^th birthday, he decided to implement the charity idea that he had held in his heart for a long time: to support Lithuanian people. Wishing to help Lithuanian children with oncological diseases, he invited a large group of friends to his birthday party and announced that all the money received as gifts was going to be dedicated to the Childhood Cancer Fund Rugutė.

 

About 30 Lithuanians attended the birthday party and raised 630 euro for Rugutė. The money was transferred to Fund’s bank account on the 6^th of January, 2012.

 

We sincerely thank the kind Lithuanian man in Ireland and all of his friends,
for the noble idea that they put into action,
and for having sincere faith in the mission of fund Rugutė.

 

It is especially good to know that kindness coming from
abroad is able to reach ill Lithuanian children.
