Thanks to Asta Rėklaitytė for Financial Support

A few months ago, on a beautiful September day, we were pleasantly surprised by an unexpected e-mail from Great Britain.

 

Lithuanian Asta Rėklaitytė, residing in London, and successfully working in the advertising company ReachLocal UK for three years, received a well-deserved recognition: on the 30^th of August she was presented with the ReachLocal Star 2011 Award that was put in place by the company ReachLocal UK to honor their late employee Justin Brookes. The Award is meant to recognize the best employee and includes a bonus premium that is given with one condition: a part of the premium (5000 US dollars) goes to a charity organization of the presentee’s choice.

 

Eight years ago Asta lost a dear family member to an oncological disease. Since then she has been concerned for people who experience similar misfortunes. Having decided to allocate a part of her bonus premium to a cancer patient organization and browsing internet for such organizations in Lithuania, Asta found out about the Childhood Cancer Fund Rugutė.

 

From all of our hearts we thank Asta Rėklaitytė for giving her financial support to a very noble purpose: so that Lithuanian children with oncological diseases would experience less suffering and more joy.
