Thank You for the Musical Wish to Children

Though the last Saturday proved being far from spring, a number of young performers spread the warmth of spring in the cellar hall of St. Ignotas Church and sent their sincere and sunny wishes to the sick children. The host of the event introduced the Fund Rugutė to the guests that gathered together in the cozy atmosphere of the church. Priest Rimas Venckus welcomed the guests with a speech about the joy of sharing love and offering a helping hand to the ones who need it.

 

Shortly after the speech the canopies of the church were filled with the wonderful sounds of music. Students of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater performed pieces by W. Stenhammar, A. Scriabin, M. Ravel, C. Debussy, A Schnittke and other composers. The evening passed like an instant full of goodness, nobility and love.

 

During the event the guests donated 790 Lt to the children with oncological diseases.

 

We say a special thank you to the organizers of the event and to all the performers, for the evening charged with sincere goodness. Thank you for the sounds of music that reached the hearts of all of our guests and sent wishes of spring to our sick children.
