Thank You for the Christmas Goodness Odyssey in the Netherlands

We received a special gift before Christmas and once again realized that a circle of Rugutė’s friends is growing larger not only in Lithuania, but also abroad. The spirit of goodness and Christmas anticipation, spread in Rotterdam by Lithuanian community in the Netherlands, has reached the hearts of sick children in Lithuania.

 

During the Christmas Goodness Odyssey that was held on the 12^th of December, 2009, members of the Lithuanian community in the Netherlands and their friends were offered to watch the movie Before Flying Back to Earth, directed by A. Matelis. Vaidotas Verba, the ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, invited the guests of the event to donate to Lithuanian children with oncological diseases by making the first donation himself. 500 euros were raised during the event.

 

 

We say a sincere thank you to the organizers and participants of the event for supporting sick children in Lithuania, for the gift of sharing and for the warmth and attention to children that their hearts are full of. We bow for the Christmas miracle you have created.
