Good-Luck Windmills Spread Goodness

Good-luck WindmillGood-Luck Windmill! – a slogan, that opened our hearts and brought goodness from one heart to the other, is still ringing in my ears. Indeed, the windmills produce Happiness, Laughter, Sincerity and Devotion. They inspire and encourage us to have faith. I admit it to myself then: IT'S MADLY GOOD TO DO GOOD. :)
Austėja

It is madly good for us, too. The Good-Luck Windmill campaign has once again proved that we don’t need much to create real sincerity, only a bunch of supportive people whose hearts are full of immense willingness and faith.

On the 5th-7th of March, when the Kaziukas Fair was roaring in Vilnius, the wonderful Good-Luck Wind-mill team sowed a seed of goodness in many hearts. The colorful windmills united lots of people and filled their hearts with incredible warmth to be shared with others.

The windmills, assisted by whiffs of favorable wind, brought 13 327,57 Lt for the sick children.

The organizers of the campaign share their impressions about Good-luck Windmills:

Justė:
When a tired old lady walks all the way from the House of Parliament to the Castle street only to purchase a windmill; when children cannot decide which color windmill is most beautiful; when a child feels so special because we yell his name out loud for the whole street; when passers-by simply smile at us; when we meet the same child in a different street, still holding a twirling windmill high in the sky, then Spring comes to our spirits... If we could smile this much and share our smiles like this every day, the world would be much more colorful.

Lina:
I would have never ever thought I would be selling anything at Kaziukas Fair. But when I was asked to take part in the Good-Luck Windmill campaign, I realized it was a great chance to do good to others. IT IS SO GOOD TO DO GOOD. Standing in the middle of the Fair and encouraging people to contribute to the campaign, we realize that we are not only helping Rugutė, but also bringing a good mood to Kaziukas Fair. Good mood makes people capable of doing big things.

Ieva:
I was coloring the windmill and each stroke of my paintbrush made me look forward to Kaziukas Fair. Even cold weather did not lessen my enthusiasm to have fun with the windmill team, interacting with passers-by and getting infected with a strong sense of solidarity and a festive mood. Who said we were in the middle of crisis? No, our windmills were anti-crisis and no crisis was strong enough to put a halter on people’s goodness. I even believe that our windmills scattered the clouds away and brought a new sunny hope to our little ones! :) Have a favorable wind!

Once again, we take off our hats to all who contributed to this campaign: the authors of the windmill idea, the manufacturers, the sales team and all those who purchased windmills – for their goodness, for their smiles and for proving the truth, that what comes from a heart, goes to a heart.

We say the most sincere thank you for the favorable wind that will help our little Captains cross the stormy ocean of sickness.
