Our dear friends,

 

Right before Christmas, we want to thank you for taking the very uneasy path, step by step, together with us. You are tightly holding our family’s hands and sharing endless love, warmth and care with Liepa.

 

Thanks to your kindness, doctors at the Timone Hospital carried out tests for the second time. The French doctors evaluated the progress of the disease and decided to carry out a tumor removing surgery. However, this was not the end of the uneasy path that all of us have been hoping for...

 

When we came back to Lithuania, Liepa was prepared for the autological bone marrow transplantation, a highly aggressive, and the only possible, method of treatment remaining that might help Liepa fight the cancer...
