A Beam of Friendship From Chicago

Our hearts received a beam of friendship and sincere care from Chicago, the capital of Lithuanians in the United States.

Ladies from the club Alatėja (www.alateja.us) having read stories about Liepa and Renius in a newspaper Amerikos lietuvis, kindly offered a helping hand.

Letters written by Audronė, the representative of the club, are beaming with true sincerity, understanding and warmth, dedicated to Rugutė’s children and their parents.

We sincerely thank you, the ladies of Alatėja, for your care and for the kindly offered support. Rugutė is bowing its thanks for your Kindness and is keeping faith in a long and beautiful friendship.

On the 16^th of February, 2008 (Lithuania’s birthday), at 7 pm, in the hall of Jaunimo Centras, ladies’ club Alatėja organizes a Valentine’s Day Feast. Funds, raised from the ticket sales, will be used to support Rugutė’s children.

The Bridge of Friendship Sweden-Lithuania

We are happy about the warm relationship with Mr. Bengt Nilsson that budded in 2007. He cheered our Captains up by Christmas gifts, organized the trip to The Feast of Joy in Sweden for Lithuanian children...
