The Elves of Rugutė spent ten days on the snowy roads and paths, trying to reach the towns, villages and homes where the children of Rugutė live. It took ten days to collect a bunch of warm children’s smiles, each of them implying that the most anticipated Christmas Miracle had come true.

This Christmas brought us wonderful news – the General Meeting of NATO Wives Bazaar decided to donate to the project of Rugutė‘s Home.

The Bridge of Friendship Sweden-Lithuania
The bridge of friendship between Sweden and Lithuania continues to be build. On December 11-13 we were most happy to receive the special guests – Swedish elves.

We received a special gift before Christmas and once again realized that a circle of Rugutė’s friends is growing larger not only in Lithuania, but also abroad. The spirit of goodness and Christmas anticipation, spread in Rotterdam by Lithuanian community in the Netherlands, has reached the hearts of sick children in Lithuania.

We sincerely thank all those who dedicated 2 percent of their Citizen Income Tax to the Fund Rugutė this year.

On the 17^th of November, in the antique shop Senasis Kuparas (Dominikonų str. 14, Vilnius), the Art and Charity Project The Sun of Love, Faith and Hope took place. A part of the funds raised during the event was dedicated to the Childhood Cancer Fund Rugutė.

Reinoldas’ Dream
It is so good to see the greatest children’s dreams coming true. We are smiling today, because the dream of our little friend Reinoldas has finally come true.

On the 5^th of July the Fund Rugutė held the fourth meeting The Island of Friends. Our team once again realized that in order to make all the dreams come true, it is only important to really want it, work for it and keep faith.
