The Elves from Sweden Visit Lithuania
Five Elves, the helpers of our loyal friend Mr. Bengt Nilsson, arrived to Lithuania for a holiday visit on the 10-12^th of December. They brought bags stuffed with gifts that were carefully prepared by Swedish students.

Thank You for the Drops of Your Blood
To our amazement (ant heartfelt thanks), 58 blood donors arrived to the Blood Drive that was organized for the sixth birthday of Rugutė on the 27^th of November, and gave a very meaningful gift to the sick children – a part of their own blood.

For the past six years we have been aware of your being with us every day and in every step. Having kindly offered a helping hand, you created a space full of immense love and good will, where seriously ill children find much needed help and support.

We sincerely thank you for believing in Rugutė’s ideas and dedicating 2 percent of your Citizen Income Tax to our fund, and also for inviting your family and friends to dedicate their 2 percent to Rugutė.

The Feast of Joy in Sweden

On the 5^th of September, 2010, thirteen families of Rugutė tentatively gathered at the International Airport of Vilnius. From here, wearing scarves colored like the Lithuanian flag, all of them were picked up by the special Skyways airplane that soon took off for The Feast of Joy in Sweden.

Meeting with Lithuanian National Men's Basketball Team

On the 4^th of August, 2010, the team of Rugutė spent a striking day in Kaunas. Linas Kleiza Charity and Support Fund invited us to come and meet the Men’s basketball select team of Lithuania.

Company SOVAT Spreads Goodness

On the 2^nd of August, 2010, a contract of continual support between the company SOVAT and Rugutė was signed. Gžegož Dzvinel, the Director of the company SOVAT, contacted Rugutė and kindly offered 5% of their profit for children with oncological diseases.
