Meeting with Lithuanian National Men's Basketball Team

On the 4^th of August, 2010, the team of Rugutė spent a striking day in Kaunas. Linas Kleiza Charity and Support Fund invited us to come and meet the Men’s basketball select team of Lithuania.

Company SOVAT Spreads Goodness

On the 2^nd of August, 2010, a contract of continual support between the company SOVAT and Rugutė was signed. Gžegož Dzvinel, the Director of the company SOVAT, contacted Rugutė and kindly offered 5% of their profit for children with oncological diseases.

Onco-Olympics 2010 in Warsaw

Six families of Rugutė took part in the Onco-Olympics 2010 in Warsaw on the 16^th-18^th of July. Małgorzata and Tomasz Osuch, heads of the Polish Fundacja Spełnionych Marzeń (The Fulfilled Dreams Fund), had visited Lithuania in April, 2010 , and had invited our sick children to represent their country in the Olympic Games for children.

The Island of Friends 2010

It was a day filled with infinite love, warmth of our hearts and child-like play. It was a day that awarded everyone with special feelings, like getting lost in an embrace of a dearly missed friend and knowing that there is nothing in the world as precious as friendship.

The goodness that traveled thousands of miles has burst into an ocean of sincerity and reached our little Fighters’ hearts. Its existence was proven to us one cold winter evening when we received a warm letter from Simona who lives in Belgium.
